10 Minutes to a better course DVD

Two years in development, the 10 Minutes to a better course DVD provides clubs the ability to educate new members and young members, and re-educate their existing members on how to look after their course.

There are four segments, Divots, Pitch Marks, Bunkers and Slow Play, each 2-3 minutes each in duration.

Divots

The highlight of the Divot segment is the time lapse photography that shows golfers how long a divot takes to repair if neglected, versus if the same divot is filled with sand or soil, or chopped in topped with sand or soil.

The time difference is amazing and results of up to two to three weeks improvement in repair time. The segment also shows the golfer why they should repair the divot in the manner shown.

Pitch Marks

The pain of most golfers is the ball deflecting off a pitch mark. This sement will show what happens to a golf ball if it runs over a poorly repaired pitch mark. The proper method to repair a pitch mark is shown in slow motion and in close-up, and the golfer is shown the end result of a pitch mark repaired correctly and incorrectly.

A strong message in this segment is the animation showing the number of pitch marks on a putting green that have been neglected or incorrectly repaired.

Bunkers

How do you rake a bunker correctly ??

Well, the Bunker segment shows the golfer how to rake the bunker correctly so that the bunker maintains its desired shape and ensures the depth of the sand is consistant.

Again, animation is used to show the correct raking process.

Slow Play

Many a friendship is lost over slow play.

This segment highlights with split screen technology the time wasted by players if they are not prepared to play their shot when ready.

BE PREPARED  is the key message, along with several other time saving actions that golfers should be aware of following.

DVD COST

Golf clubs purchase a license that allows them to:

Run/display the DVD is their club house

Run/display the DVD in the pro shop

Load and make the DVD available to members on their club website

Make as many copies of the DVD for distribution to financial members of their club

The license cost of the 10 Minutes to a better course DVD is calculated at 50% of a full members annual fee (with a minimum payment of $500 and a maximum of $1500).

With a valid license, clubs can also purchase copies of the DVD at $1.25 per DVD
