The Tournament Directors would like to thank the Management and Directors of all four courses for making their course available. These four fantastic courses will provide variety, challenge, quality and hospitality. We’re sure you will enjoy them all. The 19th hole will be even more enjoyable than normal with the support of Tyrrell's and Tooheys.
Sydney may be in the middle of a drought but that won't stop us from dishing up four of the best presented courses in town.
While March is normally a time when Sydney courses undergo green renovations and course maintenance, we are pleased to say (and very thankfully) to inform you that the committees of each of the courses have agreed to postpone any greens renovations and maintenance until the completion of the 2010 Meriton Sydney Invitational.
What does that mean?? It means that the greens should be perfect (hard and fast), and each club has promised to present their courses in "tip top shape".
The 2010 Meriton Sydney Invitational will be utilising 4 of Sydney’s finest courses, with all four listed in the 2009 Top 100 courses in Australia.
"Home of the 2010 Australian Open"
The Lakes Golf Club, established in 1928, is one of Sydney's most prestigious private golf clubs.
The Lakes has long been a major tournament venue having hosted many events including the Australian Open, Australian PGA, Ampol Tournament, Chrysler Classic, Wills Masters, Johnnie Walker Classic, Greg Norman Holden International and the ANZ Championship. The course continues to maintain its reputation as a great challenge to any golfer.
"Challenge plus tradition. A golf course for the new millennium."
For as long as most of us can remember, the name Terrey Hills has conjured up visions of the awesome beauty of Ku-ring-gai Chase National Park. Today bush blends with landscaped gardens in a sought-after semi-rural village, home to a golf course recognised as one of the leading championship courses in Australia – Terrey Hills Golf & Country Club. Opened in 1994, and designed by Graham Marsh, Terrey Hills has been home to the Canon Challenge, hosted it’s first LPGA Tour event, and was one of the four courses used in the 2003 & 2004 Meriton Sydney Invitationals. Bordering on the Ku-Ring-Gai National Park on several sides the Terrey Hills layout offers beauty and challenge. At over 7000 yards from the Championship markers the natural surrounds of bush, water and sand will offer pleasure and pain.

Welcome to the preferred golf location for the discerning golfer and business elite of Sydney. A championship par-72 golf course designed by Robin Nelson, a classic course sculpted along the lines of the great Scottish Links with manicured fairways and greens. Macquarie Links will offer you the finest traditions of golf, unprecedented service and a modern approach to enhancing your lifestyle. Macquarie Links extend you a warm welcome and encourage you to browse throughout the site, stay a while and know the pleasures of what makes their Members so proud and guests such strong advocates.
The 11th hole - the Signature hole at Macquarie Links will sort the men from the boys - 190 metres of pure carry over snake and crocodile, swamp-infected jungle. Make sure your life policy is up to date if you go searching for your ball!!

To play on St Michael's golf course is a great experience. It is one of Sydney's finest tests of golf. The majority of the course is covered by natural bush on both sides of its fairways. The Ocean breezes can also have a very big influence on your game, and therefore accurate straight driving is essential. The relaxed atmosphere both while taking in the beautiful ocean views on the course and in the club house will satisfy all visitors. It is a wonderful course, carved from a wilderness that will forever be a part of its charm and testing qualities.
